With an active renovation project in a well-known hotel in Downtown Toronto, we are on the hunt for an experienced site superintendent with high-level finishing experience to join this well-supported team.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with project manager to plan & execute the project from mobilization to close out
- Champion all site safety-related responsibilities such as, site safety orientation, site inspections, daily toolbox talks and lead by example
- Manage daily tasks for on site labourers
- Coordinate trades on-site
- Resolve construction problems as required
- Monitor project schedules and be accountable for meeting project deadlines
- Conduct quality assessments and professionally communicate expectations and remedies with trades and project team, including consultants
- Participate in trade and progress meetings
- Other duties as required
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Expertise in reading drawings
- Experience with interior finishes
- Possess highly developed problem-solving/decision-making skills
- Have a thorough, hands-on working knowledge of Building Codes
- Minimum experience 5 years
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to establish a good working relationship with many different stakeholders
- Experience working on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with Procore is an asset
