About the Opportunity
Our client in the central Ottawa area is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their fast-paced, growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Production of financial reports
- In-depth financial analysis, cash flow management
- Accurate and timely preparation of Personal and Corporate taxes
- Preparation of Notice to Readers, Compilation engagements
- Participate in Audit and Review Engagements
- Providing assessment and consultative advice on financial and like matters
- Assist with full-cycle accounting duties including Accounts Payables and Receivables, account and credit card reconciliations, posting of journal entries as well as working closely with the General Ledger
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Active pursuit of CPA designation
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with CaseWare or TaxPrep software
- Excellent communication skills (English mandatory)- written, oral, comprehension
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
