About the Opportunity 

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a flexible, part-time role? Our client is seeking a part-time Manager, Human Resources to join their team 3 days a week. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing HR functions and acting as the liaison between senior management and their employees.

As the Manager of Human Resources, you will be responsible for managing all HR programs, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and supporting the organization's strategic objectives. You will handle talent recruitment and retention, employee relations, staff development, and performance management. Additionally, you will oversee compensation plans, benefits administration, and wellness initiatives, ensuring a comprehensive approach to employee well-being.

Duties include but are not limited to: 
  • Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws
  • Assist managers with setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and creating professional development plans
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace culture
  • Manage the recruitment process, from identifying candidates to conducting interviews and onboarding
  • Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, including conducting investigations when necessary
  • Maintain and manage HR records and systems
  • Analyze HR metrics and report findings to the Senior Management Team
  • Administer benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
  • Advise on career development and facilitate open communication across the organization
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Human Resources Professional Certification preferred
  • Minimum eight years of experience in a HR Generalist role
  • In-depth knowledge of Labor Law and employment equity regulations
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset
