Our client, who is a crown corporation located in Ottawa, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team for a 5-month contract with a possibility of extension.

About the Opportunity
Our client, who is a crown corporation located in Ottawa, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team for a 5-month contract with a possibility of extension.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Establishing initial budgets in the financial system and maintain the financial system budgetary control
- Assisting in the preparation of the Corporate Plan and Summaries
- Conducting Workplan exercises and their presentation
- Providing cost and revenue data for reports, and maintains the Salary Forecast Report
- Providing expertise in revenue accounting and reporting
- Support management in preparing annual revenue plans and costing proposals
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
- CPA is an asset
- At least 5+ years of experience in a Crown Corporation, federal government and/or private sector in financial planning, reporting and budgeting; in the variance analysis of financial statements
- Bilingual (BBB level French)
- Must be eligible for a Reliability Clearance
