About the Opportunity 

On behalf of our client located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, we are seeking a Bilingual Senior Human Resources Officer to perform a variety of HR functions on a six-month contract with the possibility to be extended. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Duties include but are not limited to: 
  • Guide workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts
  • Handle complex employee relations issues and ensure legal compliance
  • Oversee HR policies, procedures, and regulatory adherence
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Execute performance management and career development programs
  • Manage employee compensation and benefits programs
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives
  • Utilize HRIS systems for data management and reporting
  • Monitor key HR metrics and provide insightful analysis
  • Facilitate organizational change with effective communication
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field
  • CHRP/CHRL designation a strong asset
  • Fluency in both English and French
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems
About the Job

The hourly pay rate being offered is between $32.00 to $45.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
