About the Opportunity
Our client requires a Bilingual Communications Officer for a full-time permanent position.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support in the development of positive and engaging communications to promote corporate initiatives through social media posts, articles, newsletters, basic graphics, videos and photos, email messages and various content pieces across a spectrum of communication platforms and channels including WordPress (website and blog), Hootsuite (social media), MailChimp (newsletter), and traditional email
- Lead on daily posting to Twitter and LinkedIn using Hootsuite, and manage daily monitoring of social media content, tracking public and member engagement, with appropriate response suggestions for both channels. (i.e.: Twitter; LinkedIn)
- Lead on preparing and sending out monthly newsletter and ongoing member outreach material using MailChimp
- Provides insight and feedback on communications approach, and bring new, modern and creative approaches to the delivery of the organization’s communications strategy
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or another relevant discipline
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Communications, or related role
- Ability to communicate, write and proof-check content in English and in French
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and present analytics using social media and web metrics tools
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Strong strategic planning skills
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented
About the Job
The annual salary range for this position would range between $60,000 to $75,000 along with full-benefits.
