About the Opportunity
Our client in the Central Ottawa area is looking for a Bilingual Bookkeeper to join their growing organization on a permanent, full-time basis. This organization focuses on professional development and moving the industry needle, all within a positive work culture.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- High volume full-cycle processing of Accounts Payables and Receivables
- Account and credit card reconciliations
- Processing payments, preparing deposits
- Processing and recording of Employee cash advances
- Ensure accuracy of cost reports
- Posting of journal entries
- Working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
- Processing payroll, HST remittances, WSIB
- Production of financial statements
- Financial reporting as needed
- Assisting with Month End close
- Provide administrative support as required
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- Fluently Bilingual in both official languages (English, French)
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
